Prato del Sole and Giardino geometrico del Mulino
Grassy clearing surrounded by trees at the centre of which there is the Sun, metallic enamelled sculpture donated by Bruno Saetti who had chosen Montepiano as place of life and work and right in the House of the Mill had found the ideal environment for his artistic growth, more than once he had shown the intention of donating that land to the Town council of Vernio so that a public botanic garden could be made. The idea was that of allowing the citizens and the gests of the town contemplative rest in a quite and harmonious place. After his death his will was respected and now the area is fenced with chestnut posts and enriched by benches for rest. The House of the Mill is currently used as an art school.
