Carmignano Amaretti
It is a round and knobbly cookie with amber color and a soft heart with intense flavor and almond scent. Its origin dates back to the late nineteenth century when it was created by the owner of a pastry store located in the center of the village of Carmignano, Giovanni Bellini, called "I’ Fochi" (fires), because of his impetuous nature.
