We have a simple and tasty cuisine, the result of tradition and genious, among the most original products are the mortadella di Prato and the figs of Carmignano, many noteworthy desserts with curious anecdotes and stories to tell: the Prato biscuits, the mantovana, the peaches, the amaretti of Carmignano, the Carmignanini, the sugar biscuits of Vernio and the stones of Calvana. Not to mention extra virgin olive oil, to taste raw on the typical bread of Prato - the "Bozza" - and wines of the Carmignano area recognized and protected since the time of the Medici and the Bagnolo Pinot Noir.
Our fantastic products every year in June become the protagonists of an event expressly dedicated to them. EatPrato, in fact, is the festival dedicated to the enogastronomic culture of Prato area, involves the entire city of Prato and the neighboring municipalities with a wide and rich calendar of events dedicated to the presentation and tasting of typical products of the territory, conferences, workshops, guided tours, show cooking and much more. An event aimed at admirers, curious people, lovers of conviviality, lifestyles and quality food & beverage, which brings together producers, restaurants, operators, cultural institutions, with the aim of enhancing tourism, cultural resources and food and wine productions of the territory.

The "Prato Shop" Atipico is an informative and sales point for typical products for the whole Prato area, managed by the Road of Carmignano Wines and typical Prato flavors, located in via Ricasoli, 13/15 right in the center of the town.
It is a veritable showcase of excellences, there are locally produced oil and honey, the excellent wine of the smallest Italian DOCG, the renowned Prato mortadella, the products of Prato confectionery tradition and some examples of the textile production, along with many other local goods.
